5 Hacks for a better learning design

1. Think of learning design in terms of feedback: Collaboration is key

You learn through practice, which is why you need to provide the audience with a safe space, where mistakes are not punished but treated a great learning opportunities. You can do that through simulations or feedback from your peers, team leaders, stakeholders and managers for guidance.
In the next step, you apply the feedback into your practice with support of action learning strategies.

2. Action learning: Bring groups together!

Bring groups together that are on different experience levels, so that they can learn form each other through collaboration. In the next step, define goals of a real outcome, define the issue and provide learning opportunities inside of the problem itself.

3. Use unified talent experience to become faster at what you do

Everything is happening at a faster pace now, every year something significant happens Every month, every week, every day significant things affect us. So no matter in which industry you’re in, you have to support your people in the accelerated environment. People need to be enabled to learn and find their learning opportunities themselves to build their confidence. And to do that, we all need to become more unified in the approach we take.

4. AI tools is your friend not your foe!

AI tools, as ChatGPT, were building up for years and exploded as THE innovation of 2023 just a few months ago. Still, we’ve all seen this coming. You might feel nervous about the tools performing better that in you in terms of creating content in much cheaper and faster ways. But, in case you’re wondering, you can just start working alongside the tools. Try them out and you’ll see that they’re useful, practical even, and that they give you a good design experience in terms of variety.

5. Small quick wins that you can rapidly scale make grest difference!

People use technology to their level ofcapability. While many are good at it, not everybody uses it optimally. So, when it comes to little performance improvements, if you just could speed everybody up by a few seconds by each of their actions that they take in a day, then that adds up to quite a significant productivity benefit.
